Biographical Information on Democratic Candidate for District Attorney
Jack Stollsteimer: Currently the Deputy State Treasurer of Pennsylvania, Stollsteimer has experience as the Assistant United States Attorney for the Eastern District of Pennsylvania and as Assistant Delaware County District Attorney. Even before earning his 1997 B.A. degree in History from Thomas Edison State College in Trenton, N.J., Stollsteimer served as Legislative Assistant to Pennsylvania House Majority Leader James Manderino and as Executive Assistant to Pennsylvania House Speaker Bob O’Donnell. Subsequently, he earned his law degree at Temple University. Stollsteimer was Chair of the Haverford Township Democratic Committee, 2014-2018, and has served on the Delaware County Democratic Committee in 1994-1998 and since 2004. He is on the Board of Directors of the Delaware County Bar Association and is a founding member of the Delco Coalition for Prison Reform, which is addressing a range of issues at the George W. Hill Correctional Facility, the county’s privately-run prison. Stollsteimer lives in Havertown with his wife Judi and two school-age children.
